The Evolution of the Artistic Images of Princesses and Witches——A study centered on classic fairy tales in China and from abroad
The creation of female figures in fairy tales always reflects the aesthetic values of women in different times.In particular,some classic fairy tales and character prototypes have been constantly rewritten and recreated throughout history.From the perspective of feminist literary criticism,this paper analyzes these classic fairy tales and the female figures created in them.Through the artistic e-volution of female images in fairy tales,we can see how women shape their own mindset from subtle passiveness to manifest proactive-ness,and how they begin to voice themselves from being muzzled.
