A Study on the Impact Mechanisms of Embodied Experience in Red Cultural Venues for Moral Education to Young People
Moral education to young people is crucial for the future of our country and nation.Visiting red cultural venues—unique vectors of red genes—can be viewed as an embodied experience of moral education.Based on the grounded theory and autoethnogra-phy,this research has revealed the mechanisms of how visits to red cultural sites influence moral education to young people. The em-bodied experiences at these venues facilitate multi-dimensional sensory stimuli reception of red genes among young visitors, who will inherit these genes through cognitive and emotional psychological processes, and then have them internalized as moral educational out-comes via the mechanisms of assimilation/accommodation.Furthermore,as visitors transition from their habitual world into embodied scenes and back, their preexisting habitual bodies will shape their scene perceptions, and their new knowledge schemas generated in these scenes will externalize and perpetuate within their habitual world.
