Since modern times,modernization has constituted the central content of human practical activities and has been the basic norm of human civilization progress.As a transcendence of capitalist modernization,Chinese-style modernization not only has the sig-nificance of modernization but also possesses the values of civilization.From the perspective of its civilizational values,the development of Chinese-style modernization,on the one hand,conforms to and exemplifies the general laws of human civilization development,and on the other hand,its emergence and development provide a Chinese approach to addressing the practical conundrums confronted in the current development and transformation of human civilization.Specifically,the civilizational values of Chinese-style modernization are manifested primarily in four aspects:reinforcing the material foundations of human civilization development,demonstrating the modern concepts of human civilization development,steering the historical transformation in the form of human civilization,and solving the con-temporary dilemmas facing human civilization development.
