The Construction of Capital Theory under Socialist System——To understand and grasp Xi Jinping's important discourse on capital in a scientific manner
Capital is a factor of production in the socialist market economy with multiple attributes and functions.Based on the princi-ples and methods of Marxist political economy,drawing from the practical experiences of China's socialist market economy,and learn-ing from the experiences and lessons of Western capitalist development,Xi Jinping has provided an in-depth and systematic exposition on such issues as the characteristics and behavioral patterns of capital under the socialist system,the dual roles of capital,the regula-tion and guidance for the healthy development of capital,and the comprehensive enhancement of capital governance efficiency and he has thus constructed the theory of capital under the socialist system.The construction of this theory follows a narrative logic from general to specific,employing comparative and dialectical methods.This theory has not only developed the Marxist political economy theory of capital and enriched the connotations of the economic theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics but also provided effective guid-ance to the healthy development of various forms of capital in practice.
