To address the rapid change of the channel caused by the dynamic vehicle movement and the random scattering of the electromagnetic wave in vehicular networks. The joint phase shifts and channels alignment(PS-CA)strategy is proposed for intelligent reflecting surface(IRS)aided vehicular networks to mitigate the Doppler shift impact and enhance communication performance. The paper proposed the PS-CA strategy consists of two stages.Specifically, the phase shifts of IRS are designed to improve the fast fading state of the cascaded channel in the first stage, the second stage designs the correction function to reduce the impact of the fast fading direct channel by aligning the direct channel to the cascaded channel.Furthermore, the designed phase shifts are combined with the correction function to improve communication performance.Simulation results show that the proposed PS-CA strategy achieves higher spectral efficiency(SE)by 8.8%compared to the optimized phase shifts(OPS)strategy.
