Beam directional pattern design for dual-functional radar-communication based on polarization-phase modulation
In order to further realize the efficient cooperation between radar and communication system,a transmitting beam directional pattern design method for dual-functional radar-communication system based on polarization-phase modulation is proposed.Firstly, the weight vector is projected into the zero space of the specified manifold space by the orthogonal subspace projection method. Then, the objective function is designed for the different indicators of the communication and detection weight vectors and solved by the optimization algorithm to realize the embedding and polarization control of the communication information. Finally, artificial noise interference is added to reduce the interception probability of the communication information in non-communication direction.Simulation results show that the proposed method can realize polarization control and sidelobe constraint, and the communication signal has higher transmission rate and anti-interception probability compared with the existing methods.
