Choice of Government Subsidy Strategy for Elderly Care Service Supply Chain
Addressing the significant societal challenge of elderly care has become an urgent concern in China. To facilitate the advancement of the elderly care service industry, the government has implemented diverse subsidy measures. This study in-vestigates the selection of government subsidy strategies in the elderly care service supply chain, aiming to enhance the efficacy of government subsidies, augment the welfare within the elderly care service supply chain, and promote its growth.Com-paring against a scenario with no government subsidies, three subsidy models are examined:Subsidizing the elderly, subsidizing elderly care service providers, and sub-sidizing elderly care service integrators.Furthermore, the influence of varying power structures on the elderly care service supply chain is explored. The findings reveal that:1)To maximize societal welfare, subsidizing elderly care service providers or in-tegrators yields significant effects;2)In scenarios of both no government subsidies and subsidizing the elderly,a supply chain led by elderly care service integrators frequently yields higher societal welfare;3)The sensitivity coefficient of elderly care service sub-sidies for the elderly impacts decision-making.When this coefficient approaches the sensitivity coefficient of elderly care service prices, the elderly subsidization mode notably enhances the subsidy effect.
