Research on Large Group Decision-Making Methods Under Interval Probability Linguistic Environment
The existing research on large group decision-making mostly focuses on probabilistic linguistic and hesitant fuzzy linguistic environments, with less attention given to interval probabilistic linguistic environments. This paper aims to contribute to this gap by introducing an improved density-weighted average operator for informa-tion aggregation in large group decision-making methods within interval probabilistic linguistic environments. The paper utilizes preprocessed interval probabilistic linguis-tic data, employing an improved K-means clustering method to cluster the data in the DEMATEL scoring matrix.Subsequently, information clustering is conducted using the improved density-weighted average operator, and the improved DEMA-TEL method is used to determine attribute weights, leading to the results of large group decision making. The proposed method is suitable for addressing the challenge of large group decision-making under uncertain environments with mutual influence among attributes. It addresses the limitation of interval probabilistic linguistic score distribution in existing large group decision-making approaches and offers a promising direction for further research in this area.
