Analysis the Application Value of Real-time Fluorescence PCR Test in the Diagnosis of Mycoplasma Pneumoniae
Objective To explore the value of selecting quantitative real-time fluorescence polymerase chain reaction(PCR)testing in the diagnosis of Mycoplasma pneumonia and to analyze the diagnostic efficacy of this protocol. Methods 1200 children with suspected mycoplasma pneumonia admitted to Laibin People's Hospital from August 2022 to October 2023 were selected as the study objects.Serum and respiratory secretions were collected from all the children.Antibodies to Mycoplasma pneumoniae in serum were determined by chemiluminescence, and Mycoplasma pneumoniae nucleic acid(MP-DNA)in respiratory secretions was detected by real-time fluorescence PCR.The re-sults of Mycoplasma pneumoniae DNA were analyzed in children of different ages by comparing the compliance rate and diagnostic efficacy of each protocol using the results of pathogenicity examination as the gold standard. Results The sensitivity(99.36%),specificity(98.08%),accuracy(99.08%),positive predictive value(99.36%),and negative pre-dictive value(98.08%)of real-time fluorescent PCR detection were higher than those of MP serologic method detection, and the differences were statistically significant(χ2=16.312,7.686,23.788,7.595,16.119,all P<0.05).Conclusion The application of real-time fluorescence PCR test protocol in the diagnosis of Mycoplasma pneumonia can improve the accuracy rate, and at the same time, the protocol has the advantages of early, rapid and simple, which can provide a ref-erence for clinicians to develop the treatment plan.
