Objective To observe the effect of plastic surgery on patients with scar contracture deformity after hand burns.Methods From February 2021 to January 2023,70 patients with scar contracture deformity after hand burn in Zaozhuang Dermatology and Venereology Hospital were selected as the research objects.They were divided into con-trol group(35 cases,routine surgical treatment)and study group(35 cases,routine surgery + plastic treatment)by random number table method.The treatment effect,complications,wound healing time and quality of life score of the two groups were compared.Results The therapeutic effect of the study group(94.29%)was significantly higher than that of the control group(77.14%),and the incidence of complications(2.86%)was lower than that of the control group(22.86%),the differences were statistically significant(χ2=4.200,4.590,both P<0.05);after treatment,the wound heal-ing time of the study group was significantly shorter than that of the control group,and the scores of daily living activ-ity ability,total active activity of hand joint function utilization and quality of life were higher than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Plastic surgery for patients with scar con-tracture deformity after hand burns has outstanding effects,can reduce complications,improve appearance satisfac-tion,and promote the recovery of daily life ability and hand joint function,It is beneficial for improving the quality of life.
