A Study of the Effect of Labetalol and Nifedipine in the Treatment of Se-vere Preeclampsia on Maternal and Perinatal Outcomes
Objective To explore the prognostic effects of nifedipine and labetalol on the treatment of severe pre-eclampsia on maternal and perinatal outcomes. Methods Seventy-eight patients with severe preeclampsia admitted to the obstetrics department of Xiangtan Maternal and Child Health Hospital from April 2021 to March 2023 were se-lected for the study, and were divided into control group and observation group by the random number table method, the control group(39 cases, treated with nifedipine),and the observation group(39 cases, treated with labetalol)com-paring maternal and perinatal conditions. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group(94.87%)was higher than that in the control group(79.49%),the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.129,P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the incidence of adverse pregnancy and perinatal outcomes, blood pressure in-dexes and 24-hour urine protein quantification decreased in the observation group, and 24-hour urine volume in-creased,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of severe preeclampsia, labetalol is more effective than nifedipine, which can improve the patient's blood pressure level and renal function sta-tus,prevent adverse maternal and infant outcomes, and has a lower rate of adverse reactions.
