Evaluation of the Clinical Value of Arthroscopic Wire and Hollow Screw Fixation for Tibial Intercondylar Spine Fractures
Objective To study the application effect of arthroscopic wire and hollow screw fixation in the treatment of tibial intercondylar spine fracture during the consultation of patients. Methods A total of 84 patients with tibial inter-condyle spine fracture admitted to Shandong Health Group Zaozhuang Hospital from February 2022 to February 2023 were selected as the study objects. They were divided into two groups according to random number table method, with 42 cases in each group. The reference group was treated with arthroscopic hollow screw fixation, and the study group was treated with arthroscopic wire fixation. The clinical value of the two groups was compared. Results There was no significant difference in Lysholm score and Tegner exercise score between the two groups before and after treatment(both P>0.05).Operation time(76.25±8.45)min and hospital stay(10.79±1.52)d in the study group were shorter than those in the control group(97.89±10.39)min and(11.89±1.05)d.The hospitalization cost in the study group(8 852.69±269.85)yuan was lower than that in the reference group(11 256.63±333.85)yuan,and the differences were statistically significant(t=10.471,3.858,32.292,all P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Arthroscopic wire and hollow screw fixation both have significant effi-cacy in the treatment of tibial intercondylar spine fracture, but arthroscopic wire fixation has a short operative time.
