Clinical Effect and Prognosis of Intramedullary Nail Internal Fixation for Tibial Fractures by Suprapatellar Approach and Infrapatellar Approach
Objective To analyze the clinical effect of intramedullary nail internal fixation for tibia fracture with supra-patellar approach and infrapatellar approach. Methods A total of 102 patients with tibia fracture admitted to Nanjing Lishui District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine/Yangzhou University School of Medicine Clinical College from March 2020 to December 2022 were selected as the study objects. The patients were divided into study group and control group by random number table method, with 51 cases in each group. The study group was treated with in-tramedullary nailing through suprapatellar approach, while the control group was treated with intramedullary nailing through subpatellar approach. The clinical indexes, pain degree and knee function of the two groups were compared. Results The operation time of the study group was(109.28±30.17)min,the number of fluoroscopy times was(15.23±2.71)times,and the length of hospital stay was(10.18±2.17)d,all of which were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(t=3.260,9.156,7.686,all P<0.05).At 3,6 and 9 months after opera-tion,the visual analogue score of the study group was lower than that of the control group, and the knee function score was higher than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Conclusion The suprapatellar approach to intramedullary nail internal fixation treatment of tibia fracture has better clinical in-dexes,and helps to reduce the degree of postoperative pain of patients and helps the recovery of knee function.
