Value Assessment of Ultrasound Combined Nerve Stimulator Lumbosacral Plexus Nerve Block Compounded with Small-dose of Dexmedetomidine for Elderly Patients Undergoing Surgery for Lower Extremity Fractures
Objective To assess the value of ultrasound combined nerve stimulator lumbosacral plexus nerve block compounded with small-dose dexmedetomidine for elderly patients undergoing lower extremity fracture surgery. Methods 56 elderly lower extremity fracture surgery patients admitted to the Department of Anesthesiology of Ningx-iang People's Hospital between December 2019 and December 2022 were selected as the subjects of this study. They were evenly grouped by the randomized numerical table method, with 28 cases in each group. The comparison group was treated with combined spinal and epidural block anesthesia, and the study group was treated with ultrasound com-bined nerve stimulator lumbosacral plexus nerve block composite small-dose dexmedetomidine method. The vital signs and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The vital signs of the study group was significantly better than that in the comparison group after anesthesia, and the differences were statis-tically significant(all P<0.05).The incidence rate of adverse reactions in the study group(3.57%)was lower than that in the comparison group(28.57%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=6.487,P<0.05).Conclusion For the elderly lower extremity fracture surgery application of ultrasound combined nerve stimulator lumbosacral plexus nerve block composite small-dose dexmedetomidine treatment is more effective, can stabilize the patient's vital signs, reduce the adverse reactions.
