Analysis of the Value of Colloidal Gold Method and Enzyme-linked Immu-nosorbent Application for HIV Antibody Detection
Objective To analyze the test effect of application using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)and colloidal gold method in antibody of human immunodeficiency virus(HIV)detection. Methods From June 2018 to June 2023,90 samples of HIV antibody retested by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention of Haian City were selected as the research objects, all of which were detected by colloidal gold method and ELISA method. The diagnos-tic efficiency of the two detection methods was compared. Results The sensitivity, specifity and accuracy of colloidal gold method were 93.33%,86.67%and 92.22%,respectively.The sensitivity, specifity and accuracy of the ELISA method were 100.00%,93.33%and 98.89%,respectively.The detection sensitivity and accuracy of ELISA method were better than those of colloidal gold method, and the differences were statistically significant(χ2=5.172,4.709,both P<0.05).Conclusion In the diagnosis of acquired immune deficiency sgndrome, the application of ELISA and colloidal gold method both have high diagnostic efficacy, and the detection sensitivity and accuracy of ELISA method are better than colloidal gold method.
