Clinical Effect of Combined Orthodontic Repair in the Treatment of Mal-occlusion in Adults
Objective To analyze and discuss the prognostic effect of combined orthodontic repair treatment for adult malocclusion. Methods A total of 98 adult patients with malocclusion in Feicheng Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were included as the study objects, from January 2021 to October 2022,and applying the method of random draw into control group and observation group, each with 49 cases.Orthodontic treatment and orthodontic repair treat-ment were used respectively. The clinical effect was analyzed. Results The clinical indexes in the observation group were higher than those in the control group after treatment, the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group was 97.96%,which was higher than that of the control group 83.67%,the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.404,P<0.05).The complication rate of observation group was lower than that of control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of orth-odontic repair in the treatment of adult patients with malocclusion is helpful to improve their clinical efficacy, improve various indicators, and reduce the incidence of complications, which is suitable for use.
