Application and Clinical Accuracy of Microbiological Test in Infection Control
Objective To explore the effect of microbiological test on clinical accuracy in infection control.Methods 90 hospitalized patients of Tengzhou Maternal and Child Health Hospital from October 2022 to October 2023 were se-lected as the study objects.All patients were provided with trace broth test and microbiological test.The effects of the two diagnostic methods were compared.Results The gold standard final diagnosis showed 13 positive cases,the trace broth test results showed 6 positive cases,and the microbiological test results showed 12 positive cases.The sensitiv-ity of 84.62%,accuracy of 96.67%,positive predictive value of 91.67%and negative predictive value of 97.44%were higher than those of trace broth test(23.08%,85.56%,50.00%,88.10%),and the differences were statistically signifi-cant(χ2=9.904,6.859,4.017,5.144,all P<0.05).Conclusion Microbiological test has good effect and high applica-tion efficiency in infection control,which is more suitable for infection control.
