Prevention and Treatment of Hypotension in Maintenance Hemodialysis Patients with Midodrine Hydrochloride Combined with L-carnitine
Objective To explore the preventive and therapeutic effects of midodrine hydrochloride combined with L-carnitine on hypotension in maintenance hemodialysis(MHD)patients. Methods A total of eighty maintenance hemo-dialysis patients admitted to Jinan Seventh People's Hospital from January 2021 to September 2023 were selected as the research objects and divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method, with forty patients each group. The control group was treated with L-carnitine,the observation group added Midodrine hydrochloride based on the control group, and the risk of hypotension after treatment, the blood pressure before and af-ter treatment and the curative effect of the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, the risk of hypotension in observation group(5.00%)of patients was significantly lower than that in control group(27.50%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=7.440,P<0.05).After treatment, the blood pressure of the observation group of patients was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).And the effect of the observation group(97.50%)was significantly higher than that of the control group(77.50%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=7.440,P<0.05).Conclusion Midodrine hydrochloride combined with L-carnitine has a better effect in the prevention and treatment of hypotension in MHD patients.
