Value of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy in Patients with Severe Craniocere-bral Injury
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of hyperbaric oxygen therapy on patients with severe cranioce-rebral injury. Methods A total of 80 patients with severe craniocerebral injury admitted to the Fifth People's Hospital of Huai'an City from January 2020 to January 2023 were selected as the study objects, and were divided into control group and study group according to random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group re-ceived conventional treatment, and the study group received hyperbaric oxygen therapy on the basis of conventional treatment. The hemodynamic indexes,Glasgow coma index score, complications, and clinical symptom improvement time of the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, the heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, diastolic blood pressure and systolic blood pressure indexes in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).After treatment, the Glasgow coma index score of the study group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The complication rate of the study group was 5.00%lower than that of the control group(22.50%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.165,P<0.05).The time of symptom improvement in the study group was shorter than that in the con-trol group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of hyperbaric oxy-gen therapy has a good effect, has the clinical value of promoting the rehabilitation of patients, can reduce the inci-dence of complications, has a regulating effect on the hemodynamic parameters of patients, and promotes the recovery of consciousness of patients, and the clinical effect is significant.
