Analysis of the Detection Effect of Different Microbiological Testing Meth-ods on Vaginal Secretions in Patients with Candidal Vaginitis
Objective To study the effectiveness of using different microbial testing methods to detect vaginal secre-tions in patients with candidal vaginitis. Methods 96 patients with candidal vaginitis admitted to Macheng City People's Hospital from January 2021 to June 2022 were selected as the research subjects. The agglutination method, culture method, and microscopic examination were used to test the vaginal secretion samples of all patients, and the positive detection cases and detection rates of different test methods were compared. Results The positive detection rates of agglutination, culture, and microscopy were 79.17%,84.38%,and 92.71%,respectively,the positive detection rates of the three test methods were compared, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=7.167,P<0.05).Conclusion The positive rate of vaginal discharge examination in patients with candidal vaginitis is higher using mi-croscopic examination, which can provide reliable basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment.
