Clinical Analysis of Pulmonary Rehabilitation Combined with Non-invasive Ventilation in the Treatment of Severe Chronic Obstructive Pul-monary Disease
Objective To explore the effects of pulmonary rehabilitation combined with non-invasive ventilation on blood gas, lung function, exercise endurance and quality of life in severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Methods Eighty patients with severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease treated in the stable stage from the depart-ment of respiratory and critical care medicine of Beijing Yanhua Hospital from June 2022 to October 2023 were se-lected,and the patients were divided into observation group(40 cases)and control group(40 cases)by random number table method. The observation group was treated with pulmonary rehabilitation combined with non-invasive ventila-tion,and the control group was treated with non-invasive ventilation.Blood gas index, lung function, exercise endur-ance and quality of life index were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Results After treat-ment,the arterial carbon dioxide pressure(38.63±2.01)mmHg in the observation group was lower than that in the con-trol group, and the arterial oxygen pressure(73.63±3.85)mmHg was higher than that in the control group, and the dif-ferences were statistically significant(t=15.547,9.684,both P<0.05).After treatment, the pulmonary function of the first second of forced breathing volume(1.68±0.22)L,maximum mid-expiratory flow rate(1.69±0.41)L/s,forced breathing volume/forced vital capacity in the first second(70.96±4.42)%in the observation group were higher than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(t=5.979,5.276,12.501,all P<0.05).The 6 min walking distance and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease evaluation test score in the observation group were better than those before intervention, and better than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Pulmonary rehabilitation combined with non-invasive ventilation has a remark-able effect on lung function.
