Analysis of the Effect and Postoperative Response of Plate Screw Internal Fixation Technique in Treating Patients with Extremity Fractures
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of plate screw internal fixation technique in treating patients with extremity fractures and the effect on patients'postoperative complications. Methods A total of 80 patients with limb practure who received surgical treatment in the Department of Orthopedics of Ganyu District People's Hospital of Lianyungang City at Jiangsu Province from May 2019 to August 2023 were selected as the study objects. They were di-vided into control group and observation group by envelope method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with closed reduction and interlocking intramedullary nailing, and the observation group was treated with plate screw internal fixation. The treatment effectiveness, clinical indexes and incidence of postoperative complica-tions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of observation group(95.00%)was sig-nificantly higher than that of control group(77.50%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.165,P= 0.023).The time of operation, hospitalization and fracture healing in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The total incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically sig-nificant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of plate screw internal fixation technology in the treatment of patients with limb fracture is safe and effective, and is beneficial to patients'early recovery and discharge.
