Clinical Effect Analysis of Trabeculectomy Combined with Ultrasonic Emulsification Cataract Aspiration in the Treatment of Angle-closure Glaucoma
Objective To analyze the clinical effects of two different surgical procedures in the treatment of angle-closure glaucoma. Methods A total of 174 patients with angle-closure glaucoma treated in Juye County People's Hos-pital from August 2018 to April 2023 were selected as the study subjects. They were divided into two groups according to different operation methods. The control group(87 cases)underwent trabeculectomy, and the observation group(87 cases)underwent trabeculectomy combined with phacoemulsifier cataract extraction.Intraocular pressure, visual acu-ity,astigmatism,ocular clinical motion score, anterior chamber angle width and depth, and complication rate were compared between the two groups. Results The level of intraocular pressure and astigmatism in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the level of visual acuity was higher than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The anterior chamber Angle width and depth in the observa-tion group were better than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The ocular clinical motion scores of observation group were lower than those of control group 1,3 and 6 months after operation, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The complication rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(8.05%vs 18.39%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2 = 4.058,P<0.05).Conclusion The clinical efficacy of the combined procedure in the treatment of angle-closure glau-coma is better, which can improve the visual acuity level of the patients, improve the clinical symptoms of the eye,and the complications are less, which is safe and effective.
