Effects of Butylphthalide Combined with Alteplase on Neurological Func-tion and Degree of CAS in Patients with Ischemic Cerebrovascular Disease
Objective To investigate the effects of butylphthalide combined with alteplase on neurological function and the degree of carotid artery stenosis(CAS)in patients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease. Methods 46 pa-tients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease admitted to the Department of Neurology of Nanjing Gaochun Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from January 2020 to January 2023 were selected as the study objects and were divided into control group(supplemented with alteplase)and observation group(supplemented with butylphthalide and al-teplase)according to random drawing method, with 23 cases in each group. The total effective rate, neurological func-tion,CAS degree and symptomatic bleeding conversion rate were compared between the two groups. Results After 14 days of treatment, the total effective rate of the observation group(95.65%)was higher than that of the control group(82.61%),but there was no significant difference between the two groups(χ2=0.898,P>0.05).The neurological impair-ment score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the length and diameter of plaques were shorter than that in the control group, and the number of plaques was less than that in the control group, and the ca-rotid intima-media thickness were lower than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the conversion rate of symptomatic bleeding between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The combined effect of butylphthalide and alteplase is more favorable, reducing the degree of CAS and neurological deficits of patients and promoting the recovery of the organism after.
