Effect of Esketamine Combined with Propofol Intravenous Anesthesia on Anesthesia and Postoperative Agitation in Children undergoing Laparo-scopic Hernia Repair
Objective To analyze the effects of esketamine combined with propofol intravenous anesthesia and agita-tion in children undergoing laparoscopic hernia repair. Methods A total of 100 children who underwent laparoscopic hernia repair in Beijing Jishuitan Hospital Guizhou Hospital from January 2020 to January 2022 were selected as the study objects and were divided into control group and observation group, with 50 cases in each group, according to ran-dom drawing method. The control group received esketamine general anesthesia, and the observation group was com-bined with propofol intravenous anesthesia on the basis of the control group. The anesthesia effect, postoperative agita-tion and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The spontaneous breathing time,extuba-tion time, mandatory eye opening time and postanedthesia care unit residence time in observation group were shorter than those in control group, and the overall postoperative agitation score and the incidence of postoperative agitation in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 4.00%,which was lower than that in the con-trol group(18.00%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.005,P<0.05).Conclusion Intravenous anes-thesia with esketamine combined with propofol in laparoscopic hernia repair in children has an ideal effect, which is conducive to improving postoperative agitation and minimizing the incidence of adverse reactions, and has high clini-cal application value.
