Clinical Effect of Sequential Azithromycin Therapy on Mycoplasma Pneu-monia in Children
Objective To analyze the effect of sequential treatment with azithromycin in children with mycoplasma pneumonia.Methods A total of 80 children with mycoplasma pneumonia treated in Jiangyin People's Hospital from October 2022 to October 2023 were selected as the study objects,and were randomly divided into reference group(re-ceiving traditional treatment)and inquiry group(receiving sequential treatment with azithromycin),with 40 cases in each group.The total treatment effectiveness,inflammation index,lung function and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups of children patients.Results Before treatment,there were no significant differ-ences in inflammatory indexes and lung function between the two groups(both P>0.05);after treatment,the total treat-ment effective rate and lung function of the exploration group were higher than those of the reference group,and the in-flammatory indicators and the incidence of adverse reactions were lower than those of the reference group,and the dif-ferences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The sequential treatment of azithromycin has high safety,can rapidly reduce inflammation,improve lung function,and have significant the effectiveness.
