Effects of Levocetirizine Combined with Desloratadine on Improvement of Clinical Symptoms and Levels of Inflammatory Factors in Children with Chronic Urticaria
Objective To explore the improvement of inflammatory factors and clinical symptoms in children with chronic urticaria after levocetirizine combined with desloratadine treatment. Methods A total of 74 children with chronic urticaria treated in Yutai County People's Hospital from August 2022 to August 2023 were selected as the study objects, and were divided into reference group and study group by random number table method, with 37 cases in each group. The reference group was treated with desloratadine, and the study group was treated with levocetirizine on the basis of the reference group. The levels of inflammatory factors, improvement of clinical symptoms, therapeutic effect and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The level of inflammatory factors, improvement of clinical symptoms and therapeutic effect of children in the study group were better than those in the reference group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The total incidence rate of ad-verse reactions in the study group was 5.41%,which was lower than 18.92%in the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=3.844,P<0.05).Conclusion The level of inflammatory factors and clinical symptoms in children with chronic urticaria were significantly improved by levocetirizine combined with desloratadine. The inci-dence rate of adverse reactions were reduced, and the therapeutic effect was obvious.
