Clinical Efficacy Analysis of Acupuncture Physiotherapy Combined with Acupoint Plastering in Patients with Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Hernia-tion
Objective To analyze the effect of acupuncture physiotherapy + acupoint plastering implemented for lum-bar intervertebral disc herniation.Methods A total of Seventy-eight patients with lumbar intervertebral disc hernia-tion in Wuxi Huishan District Rehabilitation Hospital from October 2022 to October 2023 were selected as the study objects and grouped in odd-even numbers,with traditional group and practice group,both of which had 39 cases.The traditional group performed traditional treatment,and the practice group performed acupuncture physiotherapy + acupoint plastering.The lumbar spine function,the pain,the effective rate,and the quality of life were compared be-tween the two group.Results The Japanese Orthopaedic Association score in the practice group was higher than that in traditional group,and Oswestry Disability Index score was lower than that in the practice group,and the differ-ences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The mild pain rate was higher in the practice group than that in the traditional group,and the moderate pain rate was lower than that in the traditional group,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The effective rate was 97.44%in the practice group,higher than 82.05%in the traditional group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.014,P<0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture phys-iotherapy + acupoint plastering application can enhance the effectiveness,soothe the pain of lumbar spine position,quickly repair the function of lumbar spine,expand the mobility of lumbar spine,and promote the recovery of lumbar intervertebral disc herniation.
