Clinical Safety of Application of Different Antithrombotic Regimens in El-derly Patients with Coronary Heart Disease Combined with Atrial Fibrilla-tion
Objective To explore the clinical safety of different antithrombotic therapies in elderly patients with coro-nary heart disease complicated with atrial fibrillation. Methods A total of 80 elderly patients with coronary heart dis-ease combined with atrial fibrillation admitted to Changzhou Cancer Hospital from July 2022 to November 2023 were selected as the study objects. They were divided into two groups according to the admission order grouping method, with 40 cases in each group. The patients admitted first(July 2022 to February 2023)were included in the conven-tional group.Later admissions(March 2023 to November 2023)were included in the study group. The conventional group was treated with aspirin and clopidogrel, while the study group was treated with aspirin and clopidogrel com-bined with warfarin. The clinical efficacy, incidence of bleeding events, levels of inflammatory factors and coagulation function indexes were compared between the two groups. Results Before treatment, there were no significant differ-ences in the levels of inflammatory factors and coagulation function indexes between the two groups(both P>0.05).Af-ter treatment, the clinical efficacy of the study group was higher than that of the conventional group(97.50%vs 82.50%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.000,P<0.05).After treatment, the incidence of bleeding events, coagulation function indexes and levels of inflammatory factors in the study group were lower than those in the conventional group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of aspirin, clopidogrel and warfarin antithrombotic therapy in elderly patients with coronary heart disease and atrial fibrillation is ideal, with less bleeding and high safety.
