Evaluation of the Clinical Effect of Comprehensive Therapy in the Treat-ment of Idiopathic Interstitial Pneumonia
Objective To explore the clinical effects of the treatment of idiopathic interstitial pneumonia patients with comprehensive therapy. Methods A total of 66 patients with idiopathic interstitial pneumonia admitted to Shouguang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March 2021 to May 2023 were selected as the study objects, and they were divided into two groups based on the coin toss method. The reference group(33 cases)accepted conventional Western medicine treatment, the study group(33 cases)accepted integrated Chinese and Western medicine treatment. The treatment effect, carbon monoxide diffusion volume, total lung volume, arterial oxygen partial pressure, and symp-tom and sign scores of patients in the two groups were compared. Results The effective rate of treatment in the study group(96.97%)was higher than that in the reference group(75.76%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=6.304,P<0.05).After treatment, the carbon monoxide diffusion volume, total lung volume and partial pressure of arterial blood oxygen in the study group were higher than those in the reference group, and the differences were statis-tically significant(all P<0.05).After treatment, the sputum score, cough score, chest tightness score and dyspnea score of the study group was lower than those in the reference group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The effective application of integrated therapy of Chinese and Western medicine can significantly improve the overall efficacy of the patients, significantly improve the carbon monoxide dispersion, total lung volume and partial pressure of arterial blood oxygen level of the patients, and symptoms of patients, which can improve the prognosis of the patients.
