Clinical Application Effect of Ropivacaine Compounded with Lidocaine in Brachial Plexus Anesthesia
Objective To investigate the effect of combined application of ropivacaine and lidocaine in brachial plexus anesthesia. Methods A total of 90 patients with brachial plexus anesthesia admitted to Jiangdu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Yangzhou City from October 2021 to August 2023 were selected as the study objects and divided into two groups by random number table method. The control group(45 cases)received lidocaine, and the observation group(45 cases)received ropivacaine combined with lidocaine. The anesthetic effect, onset time, maintenance time and the occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The excellent and good rate of anesthesia in observation group was higher than that in control group(93.33%vs 75.56%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.414,P<0.05).The onset time of sensory and motor block in observation group were shorter than those in control group, and the maintenance time of sensory and motor block were longer than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(8.89%vs 24.44%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of ropivacaine combined with lidocaine in brachial plexus anesthe-sia can improve the rate of anesthesia excellence, shorten the onset time of anesthesia and prolong the duration of an-esthesia block, and reduce the total incidence of adverse reactions.
