Clinical Efficacy and Safety of Ambroxol Combined with Methylpredniso-lone in the Treatment of Pneumonia
Objective To explore the safety and clinical efficacy of ambroxine combined with methylprednisolone so-dium succinate for injection(methylprednisolone)in patients with pneumonia. Methods The clinical data of 84 pneu-monia patients admitted to Suining County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March 2021 to March 2023 were retrospectively selected.According to different treatment methods, they were divided into observation group and control group, with 42 cases in each group.Control group patients received routine treatment,on the basis of conven-tional treatment, patients in the observation group were treated with ambroxol combined with methylprednisolone so-dium succinate for injection, and the safety and clinical effects of the two groups were compared and analyzed.Re-sults The duration of symptoms, signs and hospitalization in the observation group were shorter than those in the con-trol group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The total effective rate of observation group was 90.48%,which was higher than that of control group 66.67%,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Ambroxol combined with methylprednisolone sodium succinate for injection in the treatment of pneumo-nia patients can reduce the length of hospital stay, significantly shorten the duration of clinical symptoms and signs, which has a higher safty.
