Association of Blood Glucose Control Levels with the Severity of Recurrent Aphthous Ulcer in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes
Objective To analyze the correlation between the level of blood glucose control and the severity of recur-rent aphthous ulcer(RAU)in type 2 diabetes patients, and to provide evidence for the diagnosis and treatment of type 2 diabetes patients with RAU.Methods A total of 200 patients diagnosed with type 2 diabetes combined with RAU who was admitted to Sishui County People's Hospital of Jining City,Shandong Province from January to December 2022 were selected as the study objects.According to the severity of RAU,they were divided into two groups,98 cases of mild RAU in group A and 102 cases of severe RAU in group B.The correlation between the level of blood glucose and the severity of RAU was analyzed by Pearson test. Results The four blood glucose indexes in group A were lower than those in group B,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The four blood glucose indexes were positively correlated with the severity of RAU(r=0.801,0.714,0.648,0.688,all P<0.05).Conclusion Blood glu-cose level is positively correlated with the severity of RAU.
