Effect of Vitreous Injection of Lucentis Combined with Fundus Laser Therapy on Visual Acuity in Patients with Diabetic Retinopathy and Macu-lar Edema Caused by Venous Obstruction
Objective Analyze the effect of using Lucentis combined with fundus laser in the treatment of diabetic retinopathy and macular edema due to venous obstruction.Methods A total of 82 patients with macular edema caused by diabetic retinopathy and retinal vein occlusion admitted to Juye County People's Hospital from July 2021 to July 2023 were selected as study objects,and the patients were divided into the reference group(n=41)and the combined group(n=41)according to the method of random number table.In the reference group,only fundus laser therapy was implemented,while in the combination group,Lucentis was combined with fundus laser therapy.The clinical indica-tors of the two groups were compared.Results The clinical symptoms of the combination group all improved in a shorter time than the reference group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Central foveat thichness was lower and best cooected visual acuity was higher in the combination group than those in the reference group after the intervention,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The total complication rate(4.88%)was lower in the combination group than in the reference group(9.76%),but the difference was not statistically signifi-cant(χ2=0.719,P>0.05).Conclusion The use of Lucentis and fundus laser for the treatment of diabetic retinopathy and venous-obstructive macular edema can significantly improve visual acuity,and it can reduce the macular thick-ness and improve the clinical symptoms,which is of good clinical application value.
