Comparative Study on Clinical Outcomes of Coronary Intervention via the Snuff Bottle Radial Artery and Conventional Radial Artery
Objective To investigate the comparative study of coronary intervention via the snuff bottle radial artery and the conventional radial artery in terms of clinical efficacy. Methods 58 patients undergoing coronary interven-tional therapy in the Department of Cardiology of Pingba District People's Hospital from June 2022 to October 2023 were selected as the study objects, and were divided into control group and study group by random number table method, with 29 cases in each group. The control group underwent Percutaneous Coronary Intervention(PCI)at the conventional radial artery, and the study group underwent PCI at the radial artery of the snuff bottle. The clinical effi-cacy of the two groups was compared. Results The amount of contrast agent required and operation time between the two groups were compared, the differences were not statistically significant(both P>0.05).The hospital stay and post-operative compression time in the study group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The puncture time,X-ray exposure time and puncture times of the study group were shorter than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The compli-cation rate of the study group(10.34%)was lower than that of the control group(27.59%),and the difference was sta-tistically significant(χ2=9.681,P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with conventional radial artery, coronary interven-tional therapy via snuff bottle has a more significant clinical effect, which not only reduces the complication rate of pa-tients,but also shortens the hospital stay and postoperative compression time of patients, improves the puncture situa-tion of patients, and is safe and reliable.
