Analyze the efficacy of hypothermia in treating severe cerebrovascular dis-eases
Objective To explore the effect of hypothermia in the treatment of severe cerebrovascular diseases.Meth-ods Ninety cases of severe cerebrovascular disease patients admitted to Jinxiang County People's Hospital from Sep-tember 2021 to October 2023 were selected as the study subjects. They were divided into 45 cases in the conventional group and 45 cases in the study group by the two-color ball grouping method. The conventional group provided con-ventional treatment, and the study group provided conventional treatment and hypothermia.Clinical efficacy,Glasgow Coma Scale score and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale score, activities of daily living and limb motor func-tion scores were compared between the two groups. Results The clinical total effective rate and Glasgow Coma Scale score of the study group were higher than those of the conventional group, and the differences were statistically signifi-cant(both P<0.05).The score of National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale of the study group was lower than that of the conventional group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of activities of daily living and motor function in the study group(70.35±5.24)points,(70.37±2.72)points were higher than those in the conven-tional group(59.29±6.11)points,(55.46±4.08)points,and the differences were statistically significant(t=9.217,20.397,both P<0.05).Conclusion Interventional hypothermia therapy on the basis of conventional treatment can improve the neurological function of patients with severe cerebrovascular disease and ensure the therapeutic effect.
