Evaluating the Value of Thoracoscopy-assisted Small Incision Surgery in the Treatment of Thoracic Trauma
Objective To evaluate the application effect of thoracoscopy-assisted small incision surgery in the treat-ment of thoracic trauma. Methods 80 patients for treatment of thoracic trauma admitted to PLA Joint Logistic Support Force Lushan Rehabilitation and Recreation Center from January 2018 to December 2022 were selected as the study objects, and divided them into comparison group(40 cases, traditional open thoracotomy)and study group(40 cases,thoracoscopy-assisted small incision surgery)by random number table method. The surgical indexes, postoperative drainage, time indexes, pain scores, and complications occurrence of two groups were compared. Results Bleeding(84.15±10.02)mL and incision length(8.02±1.41)cm in the study group were better than bleeding(180.32±12.02)mL and incision length(20.12±1.36)cm in the comparison group, and the differences were statistically significant(t=38.868,39.064,both P<0.05).The postoperative drainage, time indicators, pain scores, and incidence of complica-tions in the study group were better than those in the comparison group, and the differences were statistically signifi-cant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The application of thoracoscopy-assisted small incision surgery in the treatment of tho-racic trauma can optimize surgical indexes, improve the indexes of and drainage, shorten the recovery time, and re-duce the postoperative pain scores and complication rates.
