Analysis of the Effect of Pulmonary Surfactant Combined with NCPAP As-sisted Ventilation on the Improvement Time of Symptoms in Children with NRDS
Objective Analyze the effect of pulmonary surfactant(PS)combined with nasal continuous positive airway pressure ventilation(NCPAP)assisted ventilation on the improvement time of symptoms in children with neonatal re-spiratory distress syndrome(NRDS).Methods Clinical data of 68 children with NRDS treated in Jingshan People's Hospital from January 2019 to June 2023 were retrospectively selected and were divided into observation group and control group according to different treatment methods, with 34 cases in each group. The control group was treated with NCPAP,while the observation group was treated with NCPAP combined with PS.The indexes of arterial blood gas analysis and treatment were compared between the two groups. Results After 1 d of treatment, the arterial blood gas analysis indexes of the observation group were significantly improved compared with the control group, and the dif-ferences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Symptom improvement time of observation group was(1.04±0.57)d,which was significantly less than that of control group, and the difference was statistically significant(t=12.393,P<0.05).At the same time, the oxygen therapy time, ventilation time and hospitalization time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Treatment with NCPAP combined with PS in children with NRDS can improve blood gas index and shorten the im-provement time of clinical symptoms.
