Efficacy and Safety of Cervical Double Balloon Combined with Misopros-tol in Promoting Cervical Maturation in Late Pregnancy
Objective To investigate the efficacy and safety of cervical double balloon combined with misoprostol in promoting cervical maturation in late pregnancy.Methods A total of 180 single pregnant women who were hospital-ized in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department of the First People's Hospital of Jiayuguan City from June 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the study objects and divided into two groups according to random number table method,with 90 cases each.Observation group was treated with cervical double balloon combined with misoprostol,control group was treated with cervical double balloon alone.The cervical maturity,psychological state,clinical effi-cacy,delivery mode,labor time,neonatal conditions and complications were compared between the two groups.Results The cervical Bishop score,total effective rate and vaginal delivery rate of pregnant women in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,the cesarean section rate was lower than that in the control group,the first,the second,the third stage of labor and the total stage of labor were shorter than those in the control group,and the neonatal Apgar score was higher than that in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the total incidence of complications between the observation group and the control group(6.67%vs 10.00%)(χ2=0.655,P>0.05).Conclusion The effect of cervical double balloon combined with misoprostol is better than that of cervical double balloon alone,and the safety is higher.
