Efficacy of Estradiol Valerate Combined with Mifepristone and Misopros-tol in the Treatment of Missed Abortion
Objective To study the efficacy of application of estradiol valerate+mifepristone+misoprostol in the treatment of missed abortion.Methods A total of 40 patients diagnosed with missed abortion from the Department of Gynecology,Zunyi Tongzi County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine Guizhou Province,from June 2021 to June 2023 were selected as the study objects,and divided into a comparison group(20 cases,mifepristone+misoprostol)and an efficacy group(20 cases,estradiol valerate+mifepristone+misoprostol)by drawing lots.The development of purging,abortion rate,cervical dilatation,and the occurrence of abortion syndrome of two groups were compared.Re-sults The time of purging was(5.84±0.16)min,intraoperative bleeding was(60.13±2.35)mL in the efficacy group,bet-ter than(8.32±0.31)min,(93.12±4.12)mL in the comparison group,and the differences were statistically significant(t=31.792,31.105,both P<0.05).Complete abortion rate was 100.00%in the efficacy group and better than 80.00%in the comparison group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.444,P<0.05).Degree of uterine opening was(2.13±0.14)points,cervical canal regression was(2.01±0.12)points in the efficacy group,better than(1.40±0.16)points,(1.65±0.21)points in the comparison group,and the differences were statistically significant(t=15.355,6.656,both P<0.05).The incidence of abortion syndrome in the efficacy group was 0,better than the comparison group of 20.00%,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.444,P<0.05).Conclusion The application of estradiol valerate+mifepristone+misoprostol during the treatment of missed abortion can enhance the effect of cervical dilata-tion,which is conducive to the development of purging,improve the success rate of abortion and reduce the risk of abortion.
