Effect of Improved Non-invasive Filling Technique on the Occurrence of Adverse Reactions to Pediatric Caries
Objective To evaluate the effect of improved non-invasive filling technique on the total treatment time and the occurrence of adverse reactions in children with dental caries. Methods A total of 200 children with dental caries admitted to Guilin Stomatological Hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the study ob-jects,and were divided into control group(100 cases using conventional filling technology)and observation group(100 cases using improved non-traumatic filling technology)by random number table method.Clinical effective rate, filling shedding, incidence of adverse reactions, levels of inflammatory factors in gingival crevicular fluid and total treatment time were evaluated in the two groups. Results The clinical effective rate of observation group(98.00%)was higher than that of control group(90.00%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.674,P=0.017).The total shedding rate and the total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).After treatment, hypersensitive C-reactive pro-tein(hs-CRP),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-6(IL-6)in the observation group were lower than con-trol group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The application of improved non-invasive filling technology in the treatment of pediatric caries can improve the overall efficacy, reduce the rate of fill-ing shedding, reduce adverse reactions, and inhibit periodontal inflammation.
