A Clinical Study of Cyclin D1 and VEGF Combined with NLR and PLR Levels for Predicting Recurrence of Chronic Rhinosinusitis-nasal Polyps after Surgery
Objective To explore the clinical value of Cyclin D1,vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)expres-sion combined with neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio(NLR)and platelet-lymphocyte ratio(PLR)in predicting the recur-rence of chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps(CRSwNP).Methods A total of 333 patients with CRSwNP admitted to the Department of Otorhinolaryngology,Yuebei People's Hospital,Shaoguan City,Guangdong Province from Janu-ary 2021 to June 2022 were selected as the research objects. All patients were treated with chronic sinusitis-nasal pol-yps.According to the postoperative recurrence, they were divided into recurrence group(138 cases)and non-recurrence group(195 cases). The general data,Cyclin D1,VEG,NLR and PLR levels of the two groups were com-pared.The receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was used to analyze the predictive efficacy of Cyclin D1,VEGF combined with NLR and PLR levels on the recurrence of CRSwNP at 1 year after operation. Results There were significant differences in the levels of Cyclin D1,VEGF,NLR and PLR between the two groups(all P<0.05).Lo-gistic regression analysis showed that the influencing factors of recurrence in patients with CRSwNP included Cyclin D1,VEGF,NLR and PLR levels(OR=1.521,1.483,1.365,1.403,all P<0.05).ROC curve results showed that the sen-sitivity,specificity and area under the curve of combined detection of Cyclin D1,VEGF,NLR and PLR were higher than those of single detection(all P<0.05).Conclusion The levels of Cyclin D1,VEGF,NLR and PLR are the rel-evant factors that induce postoperative recurrence in CRSwNP patients, and they are reliable indicators for predicting postoperative recurrence in CRSwNP patients.
