Effect of Retroaural Injection of Dexamethasone and Lidocaine on Patients with Acute Tinnitus
Objective To analyze the effect of retroaural injection of dexamethasone and lidocaine on patients with acute tinnitus. Methods Seventy patients with acute tinnitus admitted to the Otolaryngology Department of Yongkang First People's Hospital from August 2022 to August 2023 were selected as the study objects, and they were divided into the reference group and the study group by random number table method, with 35 cases in each group. The refer-ence group was treated with mecobalamine tablets+betahistine tablets, and the study group was treated with dexa-methasone+lidocaine retroaural injection on the basis of the reference group.Tinnitus symptom score, tinnitus func-tion index score and hearing threshold before and after treatment were compared between the two groups, and the inci-dence of adverse reactions was analyzed. Results After treatment, the score of tinnitus symptom and the score of tinni-tus function index in the study group were(42.78±4.79)points and(45.39±6.54)points,respectively,which were lower than(48.56±4.34)points and(50.77±6.01)points in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(t=5.290,3.583,both P<0.05).After treatment, the high frequency hearing threshold and low frequency hearing thresh-old of the study group were lower than those of the reference group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Retroaural injection of dexamethasone and lidocaine can effectively improve the symptoms and tin-nitus function of patients with acute tinnitus, and improve the hearing level of patients with mild adverse reactions.
