Different Dosages of Dexmedetomidine Combined with Sufentanil in El-derly Patients Undergoing Hip Replacement
Objective To analyze the effects of sufentanil combined with dexmedetomidine in elderly patients undergo-ing hip replacement. Methods A total of 80 elderly patients underwent hip replacement in Jinan First People's Hospi-tal from August 2021 to October 2023 were selected as the study objects and were divided into the control group and the study group with 40cases in each group according to the random number table method. Both groups underwent hip replacement under general anesthesia. The control group was given 1.00 μg/kg dexmedetomidine intravenously before anesthesia induction. The study group was given intravenous infusion of 0.50 μg/kg dexmedetomidine, followed by an-esthesia induction in combination with sufentanil.Hemodynamic parameters,Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)score and the incidence of anesthesia-related adverse effects were compared between the two groups. Results The mean arterial pressure and heart rate of the study group were higher than those of the control group at 30 min after operation and im-mediately after operation, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The VAS scores of the study group at 6 and 12 h after operation were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in VAS scores between the two groups at 24 h after operation(P>0.05).The incidence of anesthetic adverse reactions was 12.50%in the study group, lower than 32.50%in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.588,P<0.05).Conclusion 1.00 μg/kg dexmedetomidine can relieve postoperative pain in elderly patients with hip replacement, but 0.50 μg/kg dexme-detomidine has a slight effect on hemodynamics and the incidence of adverse reactions is low,and the safety is more ideal.
