Clinical Analysis of Endoscopic Ligation Combined with Tissue Glue in the Treatment of Esophageal and Gastric Variceal Hemorrhage
Objective To explore the clinical effect of endoscopic ligation combined with tissue glue in the treatment of esophageal and gastric variceal hemorrhage. Methods The clinical data of patients with esophageal and gastric vari-ceal bleeding who underwent endoscopic ligation treatment(control group)and endoscopic ligation combined with tis-sue glue treatment(observation group)at Huai'an Fifth People's Hospital from January 2022 to September 2023 were retrospectively selected, with 50 cases in each. The treatment efficiency, complications and quality of life of the two groups were analyzed. Results The treatment effective rate in the observation group was higher than the control group(94.00%vs 80.00%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.332,P<0.05).The incidence of complica-tions was lower in the observation group than the control group(2.00%vs 16.00%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.982,P<0.05).The quality of life was higher in the observation group than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Endoscopic ligation and tissue glue combined treatment for patients with esophageal and gastric varices rupture and bleeding is safe, and the incidence of various complica-tions is significantly reduced.
