Effects of Iron Protein Succinate Combined with Multivitamin on Erythro-cyte Parameters and Iron Metabolism in Pregnant Women with Iron Defi-ciency Anemia
Objective To investigate the effects of iron protein succinate combined with multivitamin on erythrocyte parameters and iron metabolism in pregnant women with iron deficiency anemia(IDA).Methods Fifty-eight pregnant women with IDA admitted to the Obstetrics Department of Chengwu County People's Hospital from January 2021 to October 2022 were selected as the study objects and divided into two groups according to random number table method, with 29 cases in each group. The pregnant women in the control group were treated with multivitamin, and the pregnant women in the observation group were treated with iron protein succinate oral solution on this basis. The clini-cal efficacy, erythrocyte parameters, iron metabolism indexes and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 93.10%,which was significantly higher than that of the control group(72.41%),the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.350,P<0.05).After treatment, the lev-els of erythrocyte parameters and iron metabolism indexes in observation group were higher than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the observa-tion group was similar to that in the control group, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion The treatment of iron protein succinate combined with multivitamin has significant effect, can promote the improve-ment of red blood cell parameters and iron metabolism indexes, and has high safety.
