Significance of Combined Detection of Serum Tumor Markers in the Diag-nosis of Gastric Cancer
Objective To study the significance of serum tumor marker carbohydrate antigen 724(CA724),carbohy-drate antigen 199(CA199)and carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA)combined detection in the diagnosis of gastric cancer. Methods The clinical data of 105 patients with gastric cancer initially diagnosed and treated in Rizhao People's Hos-pital from June 2021 to December 2022 were retrospectively study as the gastric cancer group, and the clinical data of 50 patients with benign gastric lesions and 50 healthy people were selected as the control group, namely benign con-trols and normal controls respectively.Serum CA724,CA199 and CEA were detected in all three groups. Results The ex-pression levels of CA724,CA199 and CEA in gastric cancer group were(123.70±30.70)U/mL,(296.75±65.26)U/mL and(98.67±20.15)ng/mL,respectively.The expression levels of benign control group were(4.30±0.99)U/mL,(21.43±5.01)U/mL and(3.12±0.68)ng/mL,in the normal control group, the expression levels were(4.28±0.87)U/mL,(19.74±4.12)U/mL and(3.01±0.72)ng/mL.The serum level of gastric cancer group was higher than that of control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in serum lev-els between the two control groups(P>0.05).The sensitivity, accuracy and negative predictive value of three serum markers combined detection in the diagnosis of gastric cancer were 89.52%,87.74%and 79.25%,respectively,which were significantly higher than each single and pin-two detection, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The combined detection of serum CA724,CA199 and CEA can significantly improve the diagnostic value of gastric cancer.
