Effect of Swallowing Rehabilitation Training Combined with Electronic Biofeedback Therapy on Swallowing Function in Elderly Stroke Patients with Pseudobulbar Palsy
Objective To analyze the effect of swallowing rehabilitation training combined with electronic biofeedback therapy on swallowing function in elderly stroke patients with pseudobulbar palsy. Methods A total of seventy-four el-derly stroke patients with pseudobulbar palsy treated in Zhuozhou Hospital from May 2020 to May 2022 were selected and divided into control group and study group with 37 cases in each group, according to random munber table method. The control group was treated with electronic biofeedback therapy, while the study group was treated with swallowing rehabilitation training combined with electronic biofeedback therapy.Comparsion of swallowing function and effically between the two grous. Results After treatment, the Standard Swallowing Assessment score was(20.46±2.37)points in the study group, which was significantly lower than(25.71±3.83)points in the control group, and the Video Floroscopic Swallowing Study score was(8.07±2.11)points in the study group, which was significantly higher than(6.28±1.66)points in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(t=7.094,4.056,both P<0.05).The total effective rate(94.59%)in the study group was higher than 72.97%in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(χ2=6.366,P<0.05).Conclusion Swallowing rehabilitation training combined with elec-tronic biofeedback therapy for elderly stroke patients with pseudobulbar palsy can significantly improve the swallowing function of elderly patients, improve the clinical effect.
