Analysis of Risk Factors of Pharyngeal Fistula after Laryngeal Cancer Sur-gery
Objective To investigate the risk factors of pharyngeal fistula after laryngeal cancer surgery. Methods The clinical data of 157 patients who underwent laryngeal cancer surgery in the Second People's Hospital of Qinzhou City from January 2019 to September 2023 were retrospectively selected.According to postoperative pharyngeal fistula,pa-tients were divided into pharyngeal fistula group(n=27)and non-pharyngeal fistula group(n=130).Multivariate Lo-gistic regression analysis was used to determine the risk factors of pharyngeal fistula after laryngeal cancer surgery. Results Pathological grading>T3,tumor staging>stage Ⅲ,preoperative hemoglobin(Hb)<118.5 g/L,intraoperative bleeding>184.5 mL,and nasogastric tube retention time>15.5 d were independent risk factors for postoperative pha-ryngeal fistula in laryngeal cancer patients(OR=2.271,4.109,0.929,1.026,1.573,all P<0.05).Conclusion The higher pathologic grade, higher tumor stage, lower preoperative Hb,higher intraoperative blood loss and longer naso-gastric tube retention time of patients with laryngeal cancer will increase the risk of postoperative pharyngeal fistula.
