Application Value of Noninvasive Sputum Aspiration in Relieving Respira-tory Symptoms of Infants
Objective To explore the application value of noninvasive sputum aspiration in relieving respiratory symp-toms of infants. Methods A total of 100 infants with respiratory tract infection admitted to the Department of Pediat-rics of Qinzhou Second People's Hospital from August 2020 to December 2022 were selected as the study objects, and they were divided into non-wound group and traditional group according to random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The traditional group used the traditional sputum aspiration method. The non-wound group was combined with the noninvasive sputum aspiration technique. The sputum aspiration effect, respiratory function recov-ery index[blood oxygen saturation(SaO2)and heart rate(HR)]and incidence of adverse reactions were compared be-tween the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the non-wound group(98.00%)was higher than that of the tra-ditional group(82.00%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=7.111,P<0.05).After treatment,SaO2 was increased in both groups, and the non-wound group was higher than the traditional group, and the difference was sta-tistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,HR was reduced in both groups, and the non-wound group was better than that in the traditional group, and the differencee was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of ad-verse reactions in the non-wound group was lower than that in the traditional group, and the difference was statisti-cally significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Noninvasive sputum aspiration is effective in relieving respiratory symptoms of infants, improving respiratory function and reducing adverse reactions.
